Type of Cockroaches

  1. American Cockroach : Lives in sewers and manholes, they enter homes through toilet, Kitchen net, open doors etc. A female can produce 9-10 Ootheca in her life time.
  2. German Cockroach : Mostly found indoors in kitchen, cracks and crevices. Gravid female carries Ootheca for about 3 weeks until hatching. A female can produces 4-8 Ootheca every 2-3 weeks in her life time. Eggs found per Ootheca 30-48 .It takes 55-65 days from Egg to Adult.
  3. Brown-Banded Cockroach : Found in homes, it looks very much like a German cockroach. Female can produce about 14 Ootheca in her life time. Ootheca is glued to rough surfaces. Eggs per Ootheca 14-19. Cockroaches can transmit lots of diseases like dysentery, Cholera, Typhoid, to adults, children, pets & also the reason for damaging your property.
  4. Oriental Cockroach : The Oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis) also goes by the name: waterbug or black beetle. This shiny black roach prefers to live in hollow trees and stumps, but is at home in basements, cellars, and crawl spaces where it’s cool and damp. About the size of the American roach, it feeds upon garbage and decaying matter.
  5. Smoky Brown : The Smoky Brown cockroach (Periplaneta fuliginosa) also goes by the name: roach or smoky. This uniformly shiny brown roach is second only to the German cockroach in abundance, but closer in size to the American roach. Outside, it resides in woodpiles, feasting on plant matter and bird droppings. It can be seen in cool garages and outbuildings.

Type of Ants

  1. Ghost ant : Indoor nests are within wall voids, behind baseboards, between cabinets and walls or in potted plant soil.1.3mm to 1.5mm long, with dark brown color head & thorax. They prefer high moisture and feed on honeydew and insects.
  2. Little black ant : Indoor nests are along door / windows frames, decaying wood and masonry, very small 1.7 to 2.0 mm long and shiny black in color. Outdoor nest in lawn, soil, under stone.
  3. Pharaoh ant: Indoor nest in wall voids, behind baseboards, in furniture, under floors & carpets, between linens. Appear during warmest weather in house/structure.1.5 to 2 mm long and yellowish brown in color. They are having highly water requirement. Commonly use electrical and telephone wires.
  4. Carpenter ant: Indoor colonies always associated with moisture and may occur in hollow doors, window or door frames, or the subfloor. Black in color and 7-13 mm long. They feeds sweets, eggs, meats, cakes, pet foods and prefer moisture. Forage mostly late in the day or at night.
  5. Crazy ant: Indoor they usually nest under floors and in wall voids. Moov erratically and not in trails. Dark brown or black in color and 2- .5 mm long with very long antennae and legs. They prefer sugar based food, seeds, fruits and honeydew.
